The EAS is edited at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, by Dr. Sharon P. Holland. The EAS commissions articles from experts and scholars in the many fields relating to American Studies. The EAS is updated and expanded on a twice a year basis, with occasional feature articles on the American Studies Association website. The length and scope of an article are determined by its subject matter, and all articles must reflect the interdisciplinary perspective of American Studies. Articles are reviewed by the Editor, along with the Advisory Board and outside readers.
